Success for Two Kings Bowlers

Congratulations to Louis Ridout (Kings B.C.) on becoming the winner of the Bowls England Men’s Bowler of the Year Award which was presented at the Bowls England Men’s Annual Dinner. As with the awards to the Ladies, the winner was chosen, from a shortlist of six, by a public vote. Louis’s year had begun with a Bronze Medal in the Men’s Fours at the Commonwealth Games, and this was followed by his successes at the National Championships at Leamington where he won the Men’s Singles and reached the final of the Men’s Triples. He also played a leading part in Kings B.C.’s win for the third consecutive year in the Men’s Top Club.
Also, in the vote, again from a shortlist of six, for the Bowls England Young Male Bowler of the Year Award, Harry Goodwin (KIngs B.C.) finished as runner-up.
