MIXED OVER 60 INTER COUNTY COMPETITION
As you may be aware Bowls England have introduced a new knockout inter county competition starting in 2025.
This is for players over 60 years of age as of the 1st April 2025.
Format
Six rinks of four players being two men & two women per team each playing 21 ends
Two bowls each per player
Scoring
The total number of shots across all six rinks shall determine the winner
All six rinks shall be played simultaneously
In the event of a tie after 21 ends then an extra end or ends shall be played by all six rinks simultaneously until there is a winner
The total number of shots on all six rinks shall count on the extra end
To be played on Tuesdays during the day leading to the semi final and final being held at Leamington Spa during the National Championships.
Dates – 17th June – Devon v Cornwall – Kensey Vale BC. – 12.30pm
15th July, 5th August. S/F and final to be held at Leamington on 29th August
