Combe Martin

Combe Martin Bowling Club is a mixed membership club founded in 1944. Our six rink green is considered one of the finest in the area, and the clubhouse, with its well-stocked bar, offers a friendly welcome to members and visitors alike.

Our membership numbers have remained fairly constant and we encourage social and junior members to join the Club. All of the county section competitions are contested by teams from Combe Martin, and individuals play at county level. During the Winter months friendly games at indoor venues throughout the region are a regular feature, whilst the clubhouse is used during this period for social evenings, short-mat bowls, bingo, whist, and darts, the club having darts and skittles teams playing in the local leagues.

Combe Martin is a seaside village on the coast of North Devon on the edge of Exmoor, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Often described as a walker’s Paradise, the area has much to offer those keen on outdoor activities.
