Hatherleigh
A warm welcome to Hatherleigh Bowling Club. Founded nearly a century ago, the club is a small and friendly one in the heart of rural North Devon, about six miles north of Okehampton. The club is owned and maintained by its members. We play a full programme of friendly and competition matches from April to September. In the winter, our large club house enables us to play short mat bowls with two rinks. Visitors are assured of an enjoyable and relaxing time. The club itself is in a perfect setting, being situated in a quiet corner of the town beside the banks of the River Lew, a tributary of the Torridge. It offers a six-rink green and a spacious clubhouse with changing rooms and a bar. The town of Hatherleigh is an unspoilt and quiet place with plenty of accommodation, shops, pubs, a community centre and a thriving Tuesday market.
