Bovey Tracey
Bovey Tracey Bowling Club is one the oldest Clubs in Devon and is situated at the recreation ground in Newton Road a short distance from the centre of the Town, here they play alongside the Cricket and Tennis Clubs.
The Club is noted for its friendly approach to visitors, and welcomes new members at all levels. Although the green is limited to 4/5 rinks, it is of a high standard. Men play in the Mid Devon League and Over 55’s Triples League and ladies in the South Devon Ladies Bowls Triples League. Both men and ladies enter County and Internal Club Competitions as well as supporting a full fixture list of Friendlies against other Devon Clubs.
Bovey Tracey, on the edge of Dartmoor, is a popular tourist destination with the Devon Guild Exhibition, Heritage Centre and House of Marbles. A good choice of eating places is available. Touring Sides will be made most welcome.
