Oreston & District
Oreston and District Bowling club was founded in 1928 and is a small but very friendly club. It has both Ladies and Gentlemen’s teams all participating in Competitions League and friendly games.
Oreston has a good green which is well used throughout the season and is well maintained by Plymouth City Council, with changing rooms and toilets. There are up to 6 rinks, with minimum fees payable. Spectators are also well catered for with many benches around the green area.
There is a large free off road car park adjacent to the green with a variety of local shops a short stroll away. As with all bowling clubs, new and returning players are always most welcome, with the club colours being Green and Yellow on White shirts.
