The County Teams (Balcomb, Walker, Middleton, Johns, White Rose & Amy Rose) have played in Royal Blue for a number of years.
As white is no longer the universal colour at club level, it is an appropriate time to widen the use of Royal Blue for all County games.
Therefore it was voted at Executive and passed at 2025 AGM that all Bowls Devon County and Presidents matches wear Royal Blue below the waist.
Royal Blue trousers/shorts/skorts do not have to have the Bowls England or Bowls Devon logo.
Bowls wear clothing is recommended for comfort and colour fastness, but other retailers can be used provided general dress code rules are followed:
Clothing below the waist would be appropriate for bowls.
Jeans (or their variants), leggings and ‘casual wear’ are not appropriate.
Shorts, skorts and skirts should be on or close to the knee.
