Congratulations to Kings BC Ladies on winning the Women’s Top Club for an amazing fifth consecutive year. After beating Royston 3-1 in the semi-final, they played Egham from Surrey in the final. The four disciplines were shared 2-2, with Kings winning in the Pairs and, more importantly, by a large margin the Fours. The match was decided on the overall score and Kings won 63-53.
In the Men’s Top Club Shaldon lost 3-2 in the semi-final to Shanklin BC from the Isle of Wight. The 2-wood Singles was lost on an extra end, and Shaldon won in the 4-wood Singles and Fours.
