The World Championships which were being held at the Gold Coast Queensland ended on Sunday and there were five medals won by bowlers from Devon.
Congratulations to Sophie Tolchard (Kings) on winning a Gold Medal in the Women’s Fours and a Bronze Medal in the Women’s Pairs, to Louis Ridout (Kings) and Jamie Walker (Kings) who won Bronze Medals in the Men’s Triples, and to Alison Yearling (Plymouth Hoe Ladies) and Stephen Hartley (Tavistock Sir Francis Drake) who won Bronze Medals in the Para VIP Mixed Pairs.
